She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary O'Neill and Patrick O'Neill; and her siblings, Richard (Babe), Paddy and Mary O'Neill.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Deery; her children, Jaime McDermott, Kerry O'Neill, Tommy Kushner and Jennifer Kushner; her grandchildren, Brodie, Morgan and Joseph McDermott; and her cousin Nora Magee.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (9105 Beach Channel Dr, Far Rockaway, NY 11693). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (130 Beach 84th St, Far Rockaway, NY 11693).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to PBS in her memory.
