It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Aviles (Far Rockaway, New York), who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Edward, Dennis, Thomas and Joseph Aviles; his siblings, Margarita Rodriguez, Evelyn Artis, Ezra and Violet Aviles; and his grandchildren, Brianna of Arianna, T. J., Eddie, Carly, Ryan, Aiden and Kirsten.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Denis'. O'Connor Inc. (91-05 Beach Channel Dr, Rockaway, NY 11693). A prayer was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
