With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen McManus (Far Rockaway, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Tumelty and Margaret Tumelty. She is survived by: her husband Philip McManus; her sons, Philip, James and Gerard; and her siblings, Mary Tumelty, John Tumelty (Miriam) and Margaret Tumelty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Denis'. O'Connor Inc. (91-05 Beach Channel Dr, Far Rockaway, NY 11693). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius V Chapel (8 Pond Pl, Oyster Bay, NY 11771). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St Joseph's Novitiate Cemetery (1275 Hearts Content Rd, Round Top, NY 12473).
