She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Chatman; and her son Jamel Chatman. She is survived by: her husband Eric Gatling; her daughter Vickie Thomas; her son-in-law Dwayne; her great grandchild Josiah; and her siblings, Kenneth and Deborah Greene. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
