Shaffer of Falconer, New York, born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fred Shaffer and Hazel Mae Boozer Shaffer; his wife Shirley M. Smith Shaffer; his children, Debra J. Cox Shaffer and Gerald Shaffer; his grandson Austin Smith; and his siblings, John, Robert, Bud Shaffer, Dorothy VanDale and Phyllis Shaffer.

He is survived by: his children, Sue Pischera (Chris) of Kennedy and David Shaffer of Jamestown; and his grandchildren, Angel Davis, Nicole Shaver, Ricky Shaver, Amanda Pischera, Shannon Reynolds, Kristie LaRusch and Bobby Shaffer. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
