She was predeceased by: her parents, David C. Anderson and Florence Kay Anderson; and her husband Lory Buccola. She is survived by: her stepsons, Lory Buccola (Amy) and Joseph Buccola (Stephanie); her nieces, Kim Kahanic and Lisa Smith (Tom); her nephew Craig Anderson (Priscilla); her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Buccola, Jason Buccola (Amy), Chad Buccola (Bayley), Joey Buccola and Michelle Buccola; and her siblings, Wendell Anderson, David Kay Anderson and Norma Vine.

In lieu of flowers, Merrilyn's family requests donations be made to the Frewsburg Public Library or Falconer Public Library.
