She is survived by: her husband George Steven Simpson; her children, Steven Simpson (Heather), Timothy Simpson (Audra), Tarrin Nocero (Tim) and Vicki Larsen (Peter); her grandchildren, Richard, Hannah, Skylar, Emma, Makayla, Jaden, Maxwell and Wesley; her sister Judy Sheehan; and her nieces, Stacy Kirschman (Jeremy), Amee Nazario (Marc) and Lori Sheehan.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in her honor.
