She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gilbert Merrill and Virginia Jenkins Merrill; her husband Frank N. Patterson; her daughters, Tammy Yager (Eric) of Falconer, Billie Lynn (Jason) of Falconer, Tanya Destro (Carl) of Kennedy and Kim Patterson (Adam Wilcox) of Falconer; her grandchildren, Garrett Yager, Brenton Yager, Hunter Wilcox, Ryann Kay Wilcox, Ethan Destro, Lauralin Destro, Hallie Destro, Kayla Jo Lynn and Autumn Lynn; her siblings, Roger Merrill of Belpre, Ohio and Betty Skidmore of Parkersburg, WV; her pets, Lucky and Patch; and her siblings, Robert Merrill, Harold Merrill and Barbara Stoke.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Hoops for Hospice c/o Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
