Imogene G. Truax Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Imogene G. Truax (Falconer, New York), born in Irvona, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hockenberry and Josephine Tubbs Hockenberry; her husband Lloyd C. Truax; her sons, James Truax and Rodney Truax; and her brother Arthur Hockenberry.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Truax (Susan) of Falconer, Roger Truax of Jamestown and Brian Truax of Gerry; her daughter-in-law Connie Truax of Kabob; her grandchildren, Dawn Neaverth, Michelle Swan, Thomas M. Truax, Kimberly Hardin, Brian Truax II, Lindsey Palmer, Stephanie Forbes, Jennifer Johnson and Alicia Truax; and her siblings, Robert Hockenberry and Betty Jane Valentine-Crooks. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falconer Funeral Home, Inc. (44 W Falconer St, Falconer, NY 14733). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
