She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvid Gustafson and Sarah E. Carlberg Gustafson; her husbands, Holstein and James H. Overend; her son Brian E. Overend; and her siblings, Gilbert Gustafson, Robert Gustafson, Ruth D. Folchmer and Mildred McKee.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Doud (Archie) of South Euclid, OH, Marlene Martin (Joe) of Falconer, Roger Overend (Sue) of Falconer, Dana Overend (Sally) of Falconer and Keith Overend (Susan) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Rosanne Carr (Jay) of Cassadaga, Robin Shute (Matt) of Camillus, Daniel Overend (Melody) of Falconer, Steven Overend of Falconer, Jim Martin of Silver Bay, NY, Matt Overend of Silver Bay, NY, Brittany Buchanan of Ashville, NC, Emily Whitehead of Tonganoxie, KS, Monika Overend of Tonganoxie, KS, Katherine Sherer (Tyler) of Madison, AL, Brian Doud (Kristen) of Shaker Heights, OH and Elizabeth Couture (Paul) of Cleveland Heights, OH; her great grandchildren, Gerald Carr IV, Hayden Carr, Ella Blount, Avery Shute, Oliver Shute, Audrey Couture, Leo Doud, Iliana Doud, Laurel Doud, Levi Overend, Lucas Overend, Samantha Overend, Sawyer Whitehead and Lincoln Whitehead; and her siblings-in-law, Alton Folchmer of South Carolina and Susie Gustafson of Jamestown.
