He was predeceased by: his father Clarence "Buck" Kuehn; his wife Shirley Blanton Shoemaker Boehm; his mother Josephine Spruell (Basil); and his half-sister Adelle Elliott (Elim). He is survived by: his sons, Donald Jr. (Kathleen) of Salisbury, NC and Brian (Karen) of Kiantone, NY; his brother Robert (Sallie) of Dunkirk, NY; and his grandchildren, Kelly Carr of Jamestown, Jamie Cabrera of Salisbury, NC, Amanda Burris (Chase) of Salisbury, NC, Carrie Snyder of Gallatin, TN and Michelle. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
