It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christy E. Palermo (Falconer, New York), born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Palermo and Josephine Arkeilpane Palermo; his wife Nina S. Paolillo; his sister Rena Lacagno; and his siblings-in-law, June Gullotti, Grace Comella, Frank Lipari and Leonard Comella.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Moomey (Dan) of Jamestown, Michael Palermo (Cosie) of Jamestown, Kathleen DeSantis (Ronald) of Jamestown, Christy Palermo Jr. (Kathleen) of Rock Hill, S. C. and Nina Gustafson (Alan) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Kristi Cook (Brent), Kelly Lopez, Daniel Moomey (Krista), Joshua Moomey, Ariel Hamlin, Michael Palermo Jr. (Tammy), Andrew Palermo (Amy), Melissa Wells (Jason), Andrea DeSantis Portella (Renzo), Mary Ryder (Starr), Philip DeSantis (Vanessa), Angelina Snyder, Jason Palermo, Alan Gustafson Jr. (Nicole) and Kristopher Gustafson (Jennifer); his sister Betty Lipari of Bemus Point; and his brother-in-law William Gullotti of Jamestown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
