He was predeceased by: his father William H. Brown. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine M. Hultin Brown of Falconer; his children, Kate Ledbetteer of Jamestown and Brian W. Smith Jr. of Falconer; his grandson Colin Ledbetter; his siblings, Robert Smith, Diane Speadling (Richard), Nancy Smith and Ann Smith; and his pet Grace. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
