He was predeceased by: his brother Leonard Macartney; and his nephew Mark Macartney. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Macartney (O'Hara); his children, Scott Macartney (Penny) and Shari Roemer (Rick); his grandchildren, Peyton, Colin, Emma and Mason; his sister Pauline Iatomasi (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Shawn O'Hara (Lisa), Jim O'Hara, Paul O'Hara and Michele Shemps (Ray). He is also survived by extended family including nieces, nephews and cousins.
