He is survived by: his wife Wendy E. Wiedemer Murray; his siblings, Lynn Johnson of Moorpark, CA, Kevin Murray (Kim) of Sagle, ID and Christopher Murray (Denise) of Manlius, NY.; his nieces and nephews, Erin Johnson, Carey, Shannon, Jena, Shea, Chelsea, Katie Murray, Kyle Murray and Michael Johnson; his stepchildren, Timothy Miller of Cleveland Heights, OH and Karen Song (Jeff) of Odenton, MD.; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael Song, Gavin, Kyle and Paige Miller.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to the American Cancer Society.

“Wendy, I am so saddened to hear of Phil's passing on reading the bulletin a bit late and missing masses for a few weeks. I ejoyed my few conversations with Phil and had wondered if he might come back to the mens group one day. I will keep him prayer, along with you and your family at this time. I regret that we didnt get you both over to the movie orignally planned at our house right around the time you both had to go to california. I think of Phil every time i go to the lovely room he painted.”
