He was predeceased by: his mother Marty Atkinson of Buffalo; and his brother Robert Atkinson of Daytona Beach. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Heiple; his sons, Daniel (Emily), Timothy (Laura) and Christopher; his siblings, Eric and Carol; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy, Karen (Tom) and William (Donna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews; and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, Mike's family is asking for friends to make donations to Strong's kidney transplant fund (A03380) through the Office of Gift and Donor Records or the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, and to sign their organ donor cards.
