She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Adler and Thelma Adler; her parents-in-law, Nathan and Yetta Axelrod; and her son-in-law Jin Case.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur Axelrod; her children, Michael Axelrod (Stefanie Singer) and Marianne Case; her grandchildren, Melanie Axelrod, Lydia Axelrod, Benjamin Case and Adam Case; and her siblings, Marian Charton, Carol Adler and David Adler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
