He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmarth Reed and Alice Reed; his siblings, Robert, Clarence and Lucille DeRue; and his brother-in-law John DeRue.
He is survived by: his brother Garry Reed (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Emma Lou Reed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
