He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his grandson Daniel Verdouw. He is survived by: his son Richard Verdouw (Christine Fustanio); his granddaughter Jessica Stopani; and his stepgrandchildren, Angelo and Charles Dinottia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
