He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Sherbinski and Joseph Sherbinski; his wife Helen; his siblings, Anthony, John, Cecilia, Raymond, Irene and Joan; his daughter-in-law Nora; and his grandson Craig Sherbinski.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond (Luci Izzo), Carol and Linda Sherbinski; his granddaughter Amy Pelletier (Peter); and his great great grandchild Elizabeth Pelletier.
