He was predeceased by: his father Edward Hitchings, Sr; his grandparents, Richard, Mary Hitchings, Roy and Ellen Hawkins; and his brother-in-law Mitchell Wilke.
He is survived by: his mother Paula S. Hitchings; his close friend Jackie Randolph; his siblings, Maribeth Wilke and William Hitchings (Rochelle); and his nephews, William Wilke, Benjamin Wilke and William Hitchings Jr. Eddie.
