It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald W. Tates (Fairport, New York), who passed away on February 13, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Violet Tates (Helwig); and his children, Kathleen Chambers (Christopher), James Tates (Kelly), Lisa Unkel (James), Lynn Harrington (Daniel) and David Tates (Michelle). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Don was diagnosed with Parkinson's in his early 70's and faced the disease with the same determination he always did in life.
