He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Owens and Kathryn Owens; and his siblings, Shirley Palmer Broderick, Marie Rarrick and John Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Mastin Owens; his children, Brian Owens (Carla), Christopher "Chip" Owens (Dana) and Kathryn "Katie" Romach (Michael); and his grandchildren, Jake Walsh, Riley Owens, Peyton Owens, Emma Romach, Ella Romach and Landon Owens.
