He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lucille "Dolly" Hixon; his sisters, Lorraine Fafard (Donald) and Janet Dawe (Tom); his children, Linda Rowley (Thomas), Charles III Hixon (Cheryl), Christopher Hixon (Lori Pearl) and Derek Hixon (Jeannine Booton); his grandchildren, Amanda, C. Daniel, Jessica, Shaun, Gregory, Conor, Trevor and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Donavan, Alaina, Charlie, Levi and Sienna; and his parents, Lillian Hixon and Charles L. Hixon. He was also cherished by extended family and loving friends.
