He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Brianne Snyder (Sean) and Adam Thorn (Ellie); his grandchildren, Evan, Nathan, Trevor, Jonah and Liam; his parents, Richard Thorn and Marie Thorn; and his brothers, David Thorn (Jan) and John Thorn (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
