He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; and his daughter Gerriann. He is survived by: his children, Janet Smith (Keith) of LaFayette and Gilbert Findlay Jr. (Valerie) of Fabius; his grandchildren, Kevin Smith (Becky), Zachary Smith (Caitlyn), Laura Findlay (Lisa), Timothy Findlay (Samantha) and Jacob Findlay (Bridget); and his great grandchildren, Ian Murdent, Bella, Keller, Wyatt, Sienna, Amy Smith and Liam Findlay.
