We bid farewell to Anna May Scheftic of Fabius, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Anna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Anna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Scheftic; her parents, Julian Briggman and Eleanor J. Haffey; and her sisters, Joan Cushing of Bronx, NY and Eleanor Theresa Sherman of Solvay, NY..
She is survived by: her siblings, Mark Briggman (Frances) of Folsom, CA, John Briggman (Rita) of Memphis, NY and Charlotte DaVia (Arthur DaVia) of Rochester, NY; and her close friend Patricia Oddey of Glens Falls, NY. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (7386 Academy St, Pompey, NY 13138).
