She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Munroe and Ruth Munroe (Scrafford); her husband Kenneth L. Hewett; her children, Marcia Bunzey (Grant) of Cobleskill, Gail Earl (Paul) of Voorheesville, Larry Hewett of Cobleskill, Shawn Irvin (Tony) of Mariaville, Perry Hewett (Lisa) of Esperance and Brian Hewett (Ernestina) of New Hampton, NY; her sister-in-law Marian Munroe of Altamont; and her brother Raymond. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
