It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Hotaling of Esperance, New York, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Percy Sherman and Orlena Sherman (Treadlemire); her husband Charles J. Hotaling; her children, Kristie Maiorana (Mike) of Clermont, FL, John C. Hotaling of Esperance and LouAnn Pierce (Thomas) of Gallupville; her foster son John Caplan of Troy; her siblings, Sharon Askew (Ron) of Gallupville and Richard Sherman (Judi) of Schoharie; and her close friend Steve Sturm of Schoharie. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
