He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bennett and Martha Bennett (Dyer); and his siblings, Richard, Francis Jr., John Bennett and Carol Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bennett (Barton) of Erin; his children, Hank Bennett Jr. (Tricia) of Newfield and Shelley Evans of VanEtten; his sisters, Betty Garland of VanEtten and Linda Lou Casselbury of VanEtten; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Evans, Gabriella Evans of VanEtten, Cali Bennett of Newfield and Camren Bennett of Newfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home (1004 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
