She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thurston and Gwendolyn Thurston; her husband Wayne Omans; her sisters, Laura Young and Christine Staudt; and her grandson Jonathan Carley.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi Grevelding, Roxy Carley, Craig Omans and Twila Behringer; her sister Clarenal Koba; her grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Nathan and Elizabeth; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Patrick, Austin, Madison and Keagan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services are private, contributions in Jean's memory may be made to the Erieville Fire Department, P.O. Box D, Erieville, NY 13061.
