With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dianne J. Carpenter of Ephratah, New York, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dianne J. Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward G. Harding and Betty Bartak (Keller); her children, Duane Harding and Yvonne Smurphat; her stepfather John Bartak; her brothers, Ronald, Forest and Norman Harding; and her grandchildren, Joseph M. Sweeney and Mikala Balog.
She is survived by: her son Gerald R. Smurphat III of Ephratah; her grandchild Judiann Sweeney of Ephratah, NY; her daughter Tina Spiritnitter (Dave) of New Kensington, PA.; and her aunt Candace Smurphat of Tarentum, PA. She is also survived by 19 grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dianne's memory may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or Wells Nursing Home.
