He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Arthur Popp and Elizabeth Popp; and his wife Mary Ann Welsh Popp. He is survived by: his significant other Rachel Marotta; his children, Alton Leo Popp (Katherine) of Trenton and Ann Trojan (Bill) of Gloversville; his siblings, Edward Popp (Jeannie) of Johnstown, Mary Kay Alpers of East Greenbush and Ruthann Fuller (Mark) of Clinton; his grandsons, Alex Popp and Ethan Popp; his stepgrandchildren, Royce Weber of Michigan, Stephanie Smith (Zach) of Virginia, Jeffrey Trojan (Jessica) of Johnstown, Lauren Trojan (Destiny) of Georgia and Noah Trojan of Georgia; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cal Smith, Caleb Trojan and Skyler Trojan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
