She was predeceased by: her former husband William C. Kuhns of Owego, NY; her husband Dr. William L. Roberts of Binghamton; her parents, William Platt and Josephine Platt; and her brother Dr. William Platt.
She is survived by: her sister Bette Ann Bunzey of Ohio; her sons, Gregory Roberts (Mary Jo) and Jeffrey Roberts (Susan); her stepsons, William Roberts (Kathi) and Dr. George Roberts; her grandchildren, Tricia Socash, Gregory, Jacklyn, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Kristi, Ryan, Victoria, Colby and Caleb Roberts; and also, Elijah, Noah, Ezekiel Socash, Kaylin and Adalynn Swick.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Good Shepherd Community Foundation (32 Village Dr. Endwell, NY 13760) in Joanna's name.
