She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lahr and Lillian Lahr (Cole); her husband James "Jim" Ripa; and her siblings, Margaret Lahr, Marjorie May, Charles Lahr, Eva May Payne, Edmund Lahr, John Lahr (Lillian Long) and Warren Lahr.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Woodruff (Jim); her granddaughters, Jill Trate (Dennis) and Jamie Woodruff (Kevin White); her great grandchildren, Kyle Woodruff (Peyton Anderson), Brianna Rexer, Connor White, Jaedynn Rexer, Aiden White, Rachel Trate, Colin Rexer and Abby Trate; her sister Phyllis Budash; and her nieces and nephews, Charlene Pittman, Ruth Lahr, Lillian Lahr, Nancy Dawson, Josie Lahr, Janet Lewis, Danyell Long, Michael Prislupsky and William Staples.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer's Society in celebrating Vilma's legacy of love, perseverance, resilience, and devotion.
