He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna Sochor Kotasek; his sons, Richard Kotasek (Marie) and P. Michael Kotasek; his grandchildren, Misty Reichman (Sam), Shawn Fritz (Jeannette) and Amber Crawford (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Damien Fritz, Jade Reichman, William Peter Crawford, Melanie Fritz and Jamie Fritz; his siblings, Fran Vlasak, Marie Nersesian (Roy), Karl Kotasek and Tom Kotasek; his sisters-in-law, Aggie Shattuck Dekar and Marge Horbey (Bob); his nephew Pete; his parent Katarina; and his siblings, John and Sophie.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Broome West Senior Center, 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell, NY 13760, from where many a meal was enjoyed by him.
