He is survived by: his wife Marjorie McCornack Brink; his granddaughter Serafina Brink-Andres; his brothers, Jon Beardsley and Micheal Brink (Melissa); his brother-in-law William Beard; his son Mike Simpson (Kelly); and his pet Lucky.
