He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Clara Jones; and his stepson William Bednar. He is survived by: his wife Mary of Endicott, NY.; his children, Merwyn Jones (Mary Beth) of Apalachin, David Jones (Cindy) of Johnson City, Dale Jones (Tina) of Vestal, Jason Bednar (Kate) of Johnson City, Tracy Dunnier (Jim) of Cape Coral, Florida and Christopher Bednar (Mary Ellen) of Binghamton; his grandchildren, Derek Jones, Kristopher Jones, David Jones, Cassandra Jones, Stephen Jones (Allie), Nathaniel Jones, Kylie Bednar, William Bednar, Morgan Bednar, Margaret Mary Bednar, Jennifer Alexander (late Colin Barr) and Samantha Schultz; and his great grandchildren, Elsie Jones, Qwintin Kelley, Kiara Barr, Noah Apergis and Alexander Apergis.
