He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Loy (Jo); his parents, Benjamin Loi and Elizabeth Nitto; and his siblings, Joe, David, Johnny, Rosie and Angie.

He is survived by: his children, Rob Loy (Mary Grace), Rick Loy (Elaine) and Kathy Evanek (Roger); his sister Connie; and his sister-in-law Dolly. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
