He is survived by: his daughter Danielle; his son-in-law Logan McDonald; his son Brian Doty; his grandsons, Braeden Doty, Grayson and Gunnar McDonald; his siblings, Denise Lane, Dan Ellis (Terri) and Dave Ellis; and his niece Dana Ellis.
