She was predeceased by: her parents, Celia Teed (Sherwood) and Harry M. Walker; her grandparents, Sara Sherwood (Reynolds) and Charles R. Sherwood; her husband Luther Gunther, Jr.; and her stepson Richard Gunther.
She is survived by: her brother Raymond Teed (Maryanne) of Virginia; her children, Michael R. Lewis (Diane) of Endwell, Michele Steiner of Johnson City and Denise Gunther of Binghamton; and her stepdaughter Debra Wasicki (James) of Elmira.
