She was predeceased by: her husband Norman G. Giles; her parents, Calvin Derrick and Zana Derrick; her siblings, Ruth Linberg, Ethel Friedrich, William Derrick, Elsie Gardner, Dorothy Richardson, Ralph Derrick, Lloyd Derrick and Robert Derrick; her nieces, Pam Mosey and Susan Hoechst; and her nephew Charles Linberg.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Hoechst; her children, Steven Giles, Diane Paukett (Donald), Tom Giles (Susan) and Nancy Mack (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Ian Giles, Rachel Paukett, Michelle Paukett, Joshua Giles, Nathan Giles, Zachary Rohauer and Dylan Rohauer; her stepgrandchildren, Sydnee Mack and Zoee Mack; and her nieces and nephews, Caroline Moehrle, Beverly Leonard, David Hoechst, Larry Gardner and Linda Tedeschi.
