He is survived by: his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Bill Knight; his son John David Bowers; and his grandchildren, Billy, Kristina, Jason Knight, Austin and Dana Donovan-Bowers. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in law, many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
