She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Whalen and John Whalen; and her brothers, John and Eugene (Bill). She is survived by: her husband William (Bill); her children, Michael, Daniel, Nancy Testani (Salvatore) and Denise Farrell; her grandchildren, Audrey Quinlivan, Dustin Farrell, Alicia Lally (William), Michelle Rood (Jason), Joseph Farrell, Rebecca Farrell and Parker Farrell; her great grandchildren, Bailey Quinlivan, Riley Quinlivan, Jack Lally and Connor Lally; her family Joan; and her friend Ann O'Brien.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Joan's memory to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Soup Kitchen.
