He is survived by: his wife Jean Gehring; his son Lazarus (Rachel); his grandchildren, Keziah, Noah, Hannah, Constantine, Demetrius, Artemius, Cornelius, Mamas, Kypriana, Amal and Sabine; his daughter Susan (Jace); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emily and Jillian; his niece Kali (Nick); and his sister Kathleen (Lorch).
