He was predeceased by: his son David; his parents, William P. Schermerhorn and Leona M. Schermerhorn; his siblings, Virginia Weingartner, Janet Johnson, William L. and Maynard L. Schermerhorn; his parents-in-law, George L. Edmunds and Doris Hungerford; and his sister-in-law Mary Edmunds.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn (Bunny); his son Bruce (Jackie Swan); his granddaughter Jasmine Leuschke (Jeremy) of Florida; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Miller of Florida; and his brother-in-law George W. Edmunds (Sharon) of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
