She was predeceased by: her husband Dr James A Pollack; and her parents, Aage Nymann and Louise Nymann. She is survived by: her children, Kristen Dorta, Michael Pollack, Jeffrey Pollack and Rebecca Pollack; her close friend Linda Bowgren; her grandchildren, Ana Dorta, Lukas Dorta and Theo Dorta; and also Nelson Dorta. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews; and the dearest of friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carole's memory to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
