He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Shalkey (Zipay) and Alex Shalkey; his siblings, Edward of Delhi, NY and Marie Greene of Williamson, NY; and his friends, William and Marie Popovich.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Shalkey (Serafini); his children, Mark of Corning, NY, Eric of Methuen, MA and Diana of Woburn, MA; and his siblings-in-law, William Greene of Dalton, PA and Marilyn Serafini of Peckville, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
