It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen Cowan of Eltingville, New York, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Sullivan and Alexandra Kosnik Sullivan; her husband James Cowan; her children, James Cowan (Lori), Deirdre Cowan and Caitlyn Ricci (Michael); her sister Carol Kruesi; her grandsons, James and Liam; and her child Church.
Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 40-50 person in room policy is in effect, please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in Maureen's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or (SICAW) Staten Island Council for Animal Welfare.
