He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Armondo Pugliese and Grace Pugliese (Nee Schibani); his spouse Marie; his children, Theresa Varveris, Judy Pugliese and Phyllis Priolo; his children-in-law, Lou Varveris and Steven Priolo; his siblings, Nancy Fusaro, Dolores Maniscalco and Eugene Pugliese; and his grandchildren, Brianna Sorrenti, Amanda Varveris, Joey-Nicole Sorrenti, Vincent Priolo, Louis Varveris and Dante Priolo.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, If you so desire, Donation's in Memory of Joseph may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
